I found an interactive affiche to teach Did Jesus Really Live Again? and loved the thought! I'chiliad non much of an artist so I recreated a digital one! Notwithstanding, if you don't have the time or pick to create a poster, I've got a few simplified variations below!!
I LOVED the thought that was shared Here. I simply created a printable because I'm only non much of an artist! I am glad I only occasionally get all crafty as these tend to exist more work merely every once in a while, it'south fun!
But before you delve likewise deep into a project, check out how it works first:
Interactive Poster
Starting time you'll demand the affiche I created (and a HUGE thanks to Susan Fitch for the artwork plant HERE!!):
Admission my printables at my Resources Library. Instructions for accessing my Resource Library are found at the lesser of this mail service.
I recommend press at Costco as a lustre 20×xxx print for $ix.99. Yous need the JPEG version. Other printers might prefer the PDF file.
I should mount mine on white poster lath to make information technology a niggling more durable just … nah. Or I have a tiled version that y'all tin can print at home (it prints on eight sheets of paper/carte du jour stock that you tin mount then record together).
Then you need all the affiche pieces that get to it:
**UPDATE: I wanted to allow you know how this went in primary…information technology was a HUGE success! The kids were then tranquillity, attentive and mesmerized by the poster! It was bang-up! Mayhap it was due to my praying all week that my lesson programme wouldn't fail! The Lord never ceases to amaze me! The poster took a piffling maneuvering but information technology wasn't bad at all. I'd definitely recommend doing this!
Over again, you can download these at my Resource Library. Instructions for accessing my Resource Library are found at the lesser of this post.
I printed on white card stock and cut them out. And so I have a laminator that is more than similar a contact paper applier-machine that worked perfect for this project!
Simply packaging record will easily work! Or you tin buy contact paper rolls at Wal-Mart for pretty inexpensive. Just make sure to apply either tape or contact newspaper to both sides of your images.
Here are my strips, I spaced the images about 4 inches autonomously::
Upper Corner
- question mark
- the number "3"
- heart
- question marking
Correct Side
- Yes!
- Mary (in this society)
Bottom
- Green arrow
- fish
- honeycomb
- blast
- spear
Then you demand a big oval to make for the rock covering the tomb. Go creative. I establish some sparse cardboard around my house (I salvage random things for projects similar this – anyone else?) then covered it with some gray carte du jour stock I had on paw. It needs to exist approximately 18×12 inches.
Then you need a brad to make the circle spin, and another brad to attach to the boy and girl.
To hang, use heavy magnets. The magnets are likewise helping my tombstone non fall over to the right and another magnet to hold up the girl and boy, then they don't flop forward when they are revealed.
Action
As an attending getter, enquire the children if they think Jesus lived after he died. Then inquire if they recall they volition live once again after they die. Tell them this vocal answers this question – a question that many people don't know the answer too! Accept them listen as you and the teachers sing as you utilize the interactive poster.
Repeat once again having the kids try to sing along every bit you move the pieces (I can simply slide them along with my fingers). After doing it a few times, in between each paradigm/phrase, you tin stop and enquire if they know what is coming side by side.
Deportment
Optionally, add in these actions (the actions are from HERE which has a swell lesson plan also!):
- Did Jesus really live again (hold hands out with palms upward like asking a question)
- Yes, when the third twenty-four hours came (hold up iii fingers)
- He wakened and he left the tomb (blink eyes and walk in identify)
- He called Mary's proper name (cup hands around mouth)
- Did Jesus come to those he loved (put hands over heart)
- Yes, people touched his feet (curve over and touch feet),
- And of the fish and honeycomb (wiggle hand back and forth similar a fish swimming)
- He did truly eat (pantomime eating).
- And there were nail prints in his hands (signal to hand)
- And a spear wound in his side (bespeak to side)
- Did Jesus really live again later he had died (concord easily out with palms upward like asking a question)
- Oh yes! (nod head)
- And and then shall I! (betoken to self)
If you are really brave, take different children come take turns (merely I'k not sure I'd recommend this unless you take a very small chief otherwise, in that location might be tears!).
At the terminate, bear testimony that you know Jesus was resurrected and lived afterwards he died, as will we.
**UPDATE: I wanted to allow you know how this went in primary … it was a HUGE success! The kids were and then quiet, attentive and mesmerized by the affiche! It was great! Possibly it was due to my praying all calendar week that my lesson plan wouldn't neglect! The Lord never ceases to astonish me! The poster took a piddling maneuvering only it wasn't bad at all. I'd definitely recommend doing this!
Variations
Omit the interactive poster and use the enlarged primal-give-and-take images from the interactive poster, using the actions posted to a higher place. Cutting the pages in half.
Assign each class a folio (or 2) with its associated activity, and then have them come up, place their picture on the board and teach the rest of the primary their action. Have them sit down, and then sing all the actions that have been learned so far. Repeat with the next grade until all the pictures and actions have been learned.
Get even simpler and assign each course a phrase to draw the images on the chalkboard and then teach their activity.

All my printables are costless and filed on my Resource Library. Filing instructions for accessing each printable on my Resources Library are beneath the push.
These printables are filed on my Resource Library page under Song Title > Did Jesus Really Live Again?

Camille this is crawly!! Question…can I not merely laminate the pictures instead of using contact paper?
Howdy Natalie and Aaron,
The only problem with laminating is you demand a long continuous strip of plastic (yous don't cut out the laminated objects) and the laminating sheets aren't long plenty. Peradventure there'southward another way to practise it? I hope that answers your question.
